Baptism

We had Maya's baptism on Sunday, July 26th at St Luke's Lutheran Church. Her godparents are Matt and Tracey. She did such a good job, she didn't even cry when the pastor poured the water on her head. (She isn't fond of the bath) We had a little party at our house afterward. It was a beautiful day.

What is on your Face??

Michael was playing downstairs with Izaak at Grandma Bev's. When he came upstairs he had black marker all over his mouth. Luckily it came off. Silly boy!

Full of Smiles

Maya had her first bottle on July 24th. She did really well for her first time. Earlier that day she was smiling away, so I quick grabbed the camera and got a few shots.

Day at Grandma & Grandpa's

Michael had a busy day at the farm, driving the Gator, hanging out in the corn field, and of course at the end of the day, a nap with his basketball.

July 18

Michael just loves to hold those little girls. He does such a nice job! Izaak and Michael were having a movie party in Grandma's room. They get along so nice, most of the time.

July 16

Happy Birthday Uncle Matt!! We took a trip down to Winona on Matt's birthday to have some supper with him.

July 14

Oh the kids are growing up way too fast. Michael is such a little man. We were trying clothes on for baptism. Oh and it is Brad and my 3 year anniversary. Wow, 3 years, again where has the time gone. But, we have two beautiful children, a wonderful home and lots of love!! Happy Anniversary to us. YEAH!!

July 12

Michael and Maya were hanging out in the stroller together doing a little bonding. How sweet!! Then Lily and Izaak came over to play. Got a few pictures of the girls. Lily wasn't very happy to begin with but her Nuk seemed to make everything better!

July 9

Maya is one month old today! She has grown so fast..I don't know where this month has gone! She isn't doing much but eating, sleeping, and pooping. She is starting to grin a little. It won't be long and we'll see a full smile. She really likes to snuggle and be talked to. She is starting to tell some stories herself. It is so fun to watch them grow and learn new things! I just LOVE being a mom!

July 7

Michael got a new hat from Great Grandpa Roschen. He wears it everywhere we go. He looks even more like a little farm boy!

4th of July

For the 4th of July we went down to Houston, MN to Brad's aunt and uncle's camper. Michael had a good time, especially since we were outside the whole time!! He loves being outside. There were some fireworks throughout the campground. Michael didn't like those too much, and Maya slept right through them. It was Maya's first sleepover. She slept like we were at home. No problem there. Michael decided to be our alarm clock at 4 am!! Oh well. We took a nap when we got home.

July 1

We had a little get together the other day with all the kids. It was quite the ordeal trying to get them to all look at the camera. But, I think they are all soo cute anyway. They did better than we thought.

I went into the living room the other day to clean up some toys. Michael was in the high chair finishing up some lunch. Pretty soon I hear some wrapper crinkle. I go back into the kitchen. Here Michael had a Twix candy bar in his hand. I guess we can't leave him too close to the candy jar!!
